Harvesting 10 Ounces of Gold a Day From the Bering Sea

We finally get on a hot streak after fighting through some unproductive prospecting dives and battling big icebergs.

Our philosophy is this: if you poke enough holes in the Bering Sea, you’ll eventually hit gold. With a big 10″ dredge and three great divers, the gold comes on fast when you find the right ground.

But our ice problems aren’t over yet. While the big icebergs have melted, we still have to watch out for the smaller chunks that are ripping up and down the Nome coast. They could easily grab a diver’s umbilical or stop a dive (or two).

But the reward is worth it when you can see gold dust all over the ocean floor!
