Prospecting (stealing?) gold on Alaska’s largest dredge. | Behind the Dredge w Emily Riedel | Pt 15

This week we go to Alaska’s largest land gold dredge – Dredge 5 in Nome, Alaska – to see if we can find any remaining gold. Built in 1941 and operated by the Alaska Gold Company, this massive metal monument to mining has been gutted and cleaned since it stopped working over 20 years ago. Can we find some historical paydirt? Watch and find out.
