This area is full of surprises, the majority of the gold nuggets are shallow, only covered up by a thin layer of dirt. Unfortunately the gold doesn’t just pop up everywhere, it is hit or miss and walking around without getting a target all day is not a rare event. March flies are out in plentiful numbers.
